I'm super sorry I haven't been posting as much blog content recently but I've been super busy! Hopefully, I'll have some time soon to put together a craft tutorial or something because I miss those :')
For now, I'd like to announce a very important project I've been working on, called the "I'mPerfect Project", aimed at spreading awareness about self esteem, body image, beauty standards, and related issues!
I started the I'mPerfect Project because I think it is important for young people (or anyone of any age) to understand the unrealistic beauty standards that the media portray and to know that the ONLY reason they feel "ugly" or "gross" is because of the brainwashing that the media has done. We think that we can't and aren't pretty or popular because our face isn't perfectly smooth, or our stomachs aren't perfectly flat. We are all beautiful, and the only reason we think otherwise is because we're starting to believe what the media is telling us: that we're just objects that are on display to everyone and we need to look "perfect" ALL the time.
If you support the project, please follow the project's Twitter: https://twitter.com/theimperfectoff
Thank you! Please spread the word as well to your friends and family :) x
