I apologize for the super long time that I have gone without blogging. I've been pretty busy the last few weeks with assignments but I'm hoping to get back to posting here! Thank you to all of you who continue to read this blog - I would love to hear from you in the comments :)
Today's post will be a quick and short one because I mainly just want to share a snack that I've been loving with you! Summer is arriving soon and with it comes parties, hikes, outdoor events, etc. etc. I'm certainly not trying to promote any sort of "bikini body healthy" type thing - I think that it's important in general to have a well balanced diet and to choose healthier foods (especially when snacking)!
And so today, I bring you something that I discovered at the beginning of April: apple chips. Now, I have tried a few before but I never thought to buy them. One day, however, at Costco after a junk food binge, I decided to purchase a bag of Martin's Apple Chips for a snack--and discovered how much I love them. They're no fat, gluten free, made from 100% dehydrated apple, and are healthy but still super delicious! If you like the crunch of chips, and the sweet (only slightly tart) taste of apple, this is the perfect snack for you! And unlike chips, which often have extra salts and fats to feed your cravings for more, these chips will leave you feeling satisfied after only a few!
I'm not entirely sure if the specific brand I bought (Martin's Apple Chips) are available in countries other than Canada, because they're created at a large family farm in Waterloo, Ontario. They may be perhaps available at a Costco? I thought, though, that I would share apple chips in general because they're delicious, satisfy cravings, and are definitely a way healthier option than plain chips! I would recommend that you buy a bag and reach for those next time you reach for any junk food - you won't be disappointed!
